It is known news that Vaishnav Tej is making his debut in Telugu film Industry with an upcoming romantic drama which is titled Uppena. Vaishnav Tej is the younger brother of Mega Hero Sai Dharam Tej and the nephew of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Power Star Pawan Kalyan. The makers of Uppena have started the promotional activities by releasing the first wave from Vaishnav Tej starrer. The first wave of Uppena shows Vaishnav Tej embracing the waves. The young actor is struck by waves as well as the love of his lady Krithi Shetty.
Devi Sri Prasad’ sufi style music is one of the major highlights of the First wave of Uppena. The movie is written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana who is protege of Sukumar of Rangasthalam fame. The movie Uppena is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writing banners. Shamdat Sainudeen is handling the cinematography of this romantic flm. The sources say that upcoming film Uppena is based on the life story of East Godavari fisherman.
Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is playing the important role and will be seen in the role of Krithi Shetty’ father in Uppena. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Vijay Sethupathi is getting Rs 5 Cr as remuneration to act in Vaishnav Tej starrer Uppena, which is slated to hit the theaters on 2nd April.
