Valimai Box Office collections: Ajith Kumar starrer action drama Valimai, which was released on 24th February, received mixed response by the movie lovers and the critics on its release day. But the movie Valimai is doing superb collections at the box office and now according to the latest report, the film has crossed Rs 100 Cr marks at the Worldwide box office.
The movie Valimai has set the cash registers on fire with the biggest opening for a Tamil film with a gross earning of Rs 34 crore in Tamil Nadu and the total earning of the movie on its opening day at the worldwide box office was Rs 59.48 cr. On second day it earned Rs 35.74 Cr.
Despite releasing on a non-holiday, Ajith and Kartikeya starrer action thriller Valimai managed to mint big numbers. The movie is helmed by H Vinoth and is bankrolled by Boney Kapoor
During the media interaction, Boney Kapoor said his film has registered ‘very big’ opening. But the producer didn’t disclose the exact number. He had said, “It is definitely very big. I don’t know the exact numbers but from what I have hearing from my exhibitors and distributors, the number is very big. It is perhaps the biggest opening for any film in the Tamil industry.” And on its third day, Valimai has crossed Rs 100 Cr marks.
