Mega Prince Varun Tej is popular for acting in different genre movies and this time he will be seen playing a negative role in his upcoming movie Valmiki, which is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of Harish Shankar. Varun Tej’ raw and rugged makeover has already created a lot of buzzes and increased the eagerness of the movie lovers. They are eagerly waiting for the arrival of Valmiki at the theaters. According to the latest update, the makers have sold out Nizam theatrical rights to distributor Srivas for the whopping price.
The sources close to the film unit revealed that Nizam distributor Srivas has grabbed the theatrical rights of Valmiki for a fancy price of Rs 8.10 crores.
Valmiki is the official remake of Tamil super hit Jigarthanda, which is being sold out with fancy prices. It is being bankrolled by Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the banner of the 14 Reels Plus whereas it has the music by Mickey J Meyer.
Karthik Subbaraj has written the story of Valmiki whereas Chota K Prasad is handling the editing of this drama. Varun Tej starrer Valmiki also has Kollywood actor Atharvaa Murali in supporting roles and Pooja Hegde in the female lead. Valmiki is slated to hit the theaters on 8th September 2019.
