It is known news that after delivering comedy and romantic entertainer F2 Fun and Frustrations, Mega Prince Varun Tej joined the sets of her upcoming movie Valmiki, which is being helmed by Harish Shankar. Valmiki is remake of Tamil gangster comedy, Jigarthanda. The team of Valmiki brought a good news for the movie lovers and Varun Tej’ fans as they are planning to release a pre teaser very soon.
Harish Shankar himself has confirmed this news via his post on Twitter as he wrote, “Love to announce on this auspicious day from the team of Valmiki… that Very soon we gonna Surprise you guys with a pre -teaser #PreTeaserValmiki….. @DoP_Bose @IAmVarunTej @Atharvaamurali @hegdepooja.” Harish Shankar adapted the story as per the sensibilities of Telugu audience.
Atharvaa Murali and gorgeous diva Pooja Hegde reprising the roles originally played by Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon respectively in the Tamil version. 50% of the shoot has been wrapped up. Valmiki is being produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under 14 Reels Plus banner. Ayananka Bose is the cinematographer. Varun Tej will be seen playing the role of don in this film.
The original version in Tamil (Jigarthanda) was directed by Karthik Subburaj and had Siddharth, Bobby Simha and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles.
