The bold and beautiful actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is known for straightforward attitude. Currently she is busy in the promotional activities of her upcoming film Velvet Nagaram. As a part of promotional activities, she interacted with media and revealed the dark side of film industry- the casting couch and how she was approached despite being a star kid. She revealed about being approached to compromise for movies but she chose the other way and learnt to say no. In another interview, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar also opened up about step-sister Rayanne Hardy’ tweet where she mentioned that Radikaa Sarathkumar is blessed having four children and a grandson.
The star daughter Varalaxmi Sarathkumar said, “Rayanne Fardy is a strong girl and she knows how to handle herself. People say Radhika Sarathkumar is my mom, but she is not. Radhika Sarathkumar is my father’ second wife and I am happy for that.”
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar added that she is often asked why she referred to her stepmother as ‘aunt’ in her tweets.
Madha Gaja Raja actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar concluded it by saying that everyone has only one mother. She will always consider Radikaa Sarathkumar as her aunt.
Sarathkumar has two children with his first wife, Chaya, – Pooja and Varalaxmi. he tied the knot with Radhikaa in 2001. Radikaa too has a daughter with her first husband, Rayane, who is married to cricketer Abhimanyu Mithun.
