Akhil Akkineni is teaming up with filmmaker Surender Reddy, who is known for helming blockbusters like Kick, Dhruva and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, for a project. The upcoming untitled film mark Akhil Akkineni’ fifth movie since his debut in 2015 and it will be Surender Reddy and Akhil’ first collaboration, which will be backed by Ramabrahmam Sunkara’s AK Entertainments and Reddy’s Surrender2cinema. Now according to the latest update, the makers of Akhil Akkineni starrer are considering the title Varasudu for Surender Reddy’ directorial venture.
The story of Varasudu is penned by Vakkantham Vamsi. Pathi Deepa Reddy, Ajay Sunkara, are the co-producers whereas Kishore Garikapati is the executive producer of Akhil starrer.
Varasudu is a 1993 film, which was helmed by EVV Satyanarayana and produced by D Kishore under the banner of Sri Jayabheri Art Productions, presented by Murali Mohan whereas the film starring King Nagarjuna and Nagma.
Lets’ wait for an official announcement regarding the title of Akhil Akkineni starrer. On the otherside, the first look poster of Akhil5 will be unveiled on 8th April. Currently the young actor is working with Pooja Hegde in romantic and comedy movie Most Eligible Bachelor in which he is playing the role of an NRI.
