Thunivu and Varisu Box office collections : Thalapathy Vijay, the south superstar, has delivered several blockbusters in career in the film Industry. On the occasion of Sankranthi 2023, Thalapathy Vijay has gifted his fans the release of Varisu, a Dil Raju production which is helmed by Vamsi Padipally. The family drama features Vijay along with Pushpa girl Rashmika Mandanna. The movie is competing with Kollywood star Ajith Kumar starrer Thunivu which was arrived at the theaters on 11th January. Both the movies received mixed response by the movie lovers and critics from each corners on its release day. Here is Thunivu and Varisu Australia Box-Office collections report:

Varisu is produced by popular producer Dil Raju Sirish under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema. Vijay starrer Varisu has won the epic Pongal box office battle as Ajith Kumar and Manju Warrier starrer Thunivu was also released on the same day. There is a neck-to-neck competition at the ticket window but while checking out the worldwide BOC numbers, Varisu has beaten Thunivu at the Australia Box-Office.
Thunivu follows a dreaded gangster Radha. He and his men plan to rob one bank in Chennai city, only to realize that another gang led by Dark Devil, has already hijacked the bank.
