Varisu Box office Collections: Thalapathy Vijay is basking in the success of his recently released romantic and family drama, Varisu, which was released on the eve of Pongal. The film is directed by Vamsi Paidipally who is best known for helming Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde starrer blockbuster drama Maharshi. Despite facing a big clash with Ajith Kumar starrer Thunivu, the family drama Varisu is running well in theatres and has already crossed Rs 210Crs+ worldwide in just 7 days.

On its release day, the movie received the mixed response by the movie lovers, but it is doing superb collections at the box office. The film which has Pushpa fame Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead, is giving very tough completion to Ajith Kumar starrer Thunivu.
Both the movies Varisu and Thunivu will explore their full potential to hit a century in Tamil Nadu.
The family audiences are expected to step in to watch the movie ‘Varisu’ in the next few days. The family drama is constructed to evolve into the most profitable at the box office.
Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, bankrolled by noted producer Dil Raju, ‘Varisu’ has Vijay playing a son of a businessman.
