We have already reported that Venkatesh Daggubati has been roped in an upcoming Telugu film, which is a remake of Kollywood movie Asuran, in which Dhanush played the lead role. Now a fan made poster of Asuran is going viral on the social media that features Venkatesh. Currently Venkatesh’ fans are on the ninth cloud and eager to watch their favourite star in Asuran remake.
Asuran is directed by Vetri Maaran is a raw and intense rural film in which Dhanush essayed the role of both father and son in this film. According to few, Venkatesh is not suitable to act in Asuran remake. The village looks and playing the role of both father and son may be difficult for Venkatesh keeping in mind his age and looks. So, we need to see if he really goes ahead with this script or not.
The upcoming remake of Asuran starring Venkatesh will jointly produce by Kalaipuli S. Thanu and Suresh Babu under the banners of V Creations and Suresh Productions. There are also buzz in the film industry that Venkatesh will play the father’s role and a young hero will be roped to play the role of his son.
Venkatesh was last seen in F2 Fun and Frustration, directed by Anil Ravipudi. It seems Venkatesh doesn’t think twice in giving nod to films that became super hits in other languages. The sources say that Venkatesh Daggubati has already given his nod for the Telugu remake of Tamil film Asuran in which Dhanush and Manju Warrier are playing the lead roles.
Meanwhile Victory Venkatesh is waiting for the release of Venky Mama in which he will be seen with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, who us playing a military officer. He is also going to work on a project with Tharun Bhascker, which will be produced by Suresh Babu of Suresh Productions. It is set against the backdrop of a horse racing club in Hyderabad.
