Venkatesh Daggubati is on signing spree! Currently, he is enjoying the success of his recent offering Venky Mama where he shared the screen space with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, Payal Rajput, and Raashi Khanna. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Venkatesh has signed an upcoming Telugu film, where he will essay the role of a cop. Venkatesh starrer cop based drama will be helmed by Mahi V Raghav, who made Anando Brahma and Yatra and will be bankrolled under the banner of PVP.
The sources say that recently the director met Venkatesh and narrated a storyline, the actor who was very impressed with the narration, gave his green signal. Very soon, the official announcement will be made regarding the project of Venkatesh and Mahi V Raghav’s project.
This is not the first time, Venkatesh is going to don in cop avatar. Earlier he has essayed DCP Ram Chandra in Gharshana, Commissioner of Police Eeshwar Prasad in Eenadu and ACP Krishna in Babu Bangaram. Now once again Venkatesh is all set to play a cop in Mahi V Raghav and PVP cinema’ project.
Recently there was also strong buzz in the film industry that Venkatesh is going to collaborate with Trivikram Srinivas for a project but there is no update, regarding this project.
In the month of October Suresh Babu has revealed that Tharun Bhascker of Pelli Choopulu fame will be directing Venkatesh Daggubati in his next, where he will be seen playing the role of, which is set in the backdrop of a Malakapet Race Club. The story will deal with horse racing.
Currently, Venkatesh is getting ready to start the shoot of his next upcoming drama, the remake of Tamil movie Asuran in which Dhanush played the lead role. The movie will be directed by Srikanth Addala and bankrolled by Dil Raju.
