Mega Power Star Ram Charan has bought the remake rights of the Malayalam film Driving License. Driving License is helmed by Jean-Paul Lal aka Lal Jr and is bankrolled by Supriya Menon and Listin Stepehn under the banner of Prithviraj Productions and Magic frames. The movie ‘Driving License’ is all about the story of a superstar and his fan- a Motor Vehicle Inspector. Prithviraj essayed the role of the superstar Hareendran and Suraj was seen in the role of his fan named Kuruvila. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Venkatesh Daggubati will play the lead role in Telugu remake of Malayalam film Driving License, which will be bankrolled by producer Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Productions.
The sources say that after watching Driving License, Ram Charan felt Venkatesh Daggubati would be the right choice for this film. If everything will go accordingly, the remake will be helmed by a noted director and will go on the floor later this year or early in 2021.
Currently, Venkatesh Daggubati is busy in the shoot of revenge drama Naarappa, the remake of Tamil film Asuran, which is helmed by Srikanth Addala. Priyamani is playing the female lead in Naarappa. On the other side, Ram Charan is currently bankrolling his father Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva’s film.
