Venkatesh Naarappa First look: The title and first look poster of Venkatesh’ 74th film have been revealed on Twitter today by the actor himself. Venkatesh took to his Twitter and revealed that the movie is titled Naarappa. Coming on the first look poster of Naarappa, Venkatesh is seen in a rugged and rustic avatar. He is seen holding a blood-stained sickle in his hand.

Khaja: The right person to remake

Asuran which was helmed by Vetrimaaran is a thrilling plot against caste and received rave reviews for its theme. Now the movie is going to be remake in Telugu film Industry and in which Venkatesh Daggubati will play the lead role. The makers have roped Priyamani to play the female lead. The regular shooting of Asuran remake – Naarappa is going to be started from today.

Director Srikanth Addala who is known for films like Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Brahmotsavam will be directing Venkatesh again in the Telugu remake Naarappa. The Telugu remake Naarappa of Venkatesh and Priyamani starrer will be bankrolled by Suresh Babu and the original producer Kalaipuli S Thanu under Suresh Productions and V Creations, respectively. The rest of the cast and crew of Narappa are yet to be announced.

Dhanush starrer Asuran is a revenge drama that traces the fight of an oppressed community against those oppressing them is based on Tamil novel Vekkai written by Poomani. The movie featured Dhanush in dual roles, playing his character over two generations.

On the other side, Venkatesh was last seen in multistarrer Venky Mam, directed by KS Ravindra alias Bobby which has Raashi Khanna, Payal Rajput, and Naga Chaitanya.
