Venkatesh Daggubati is  playing the lead role in an upcoming action and revenge drama Narappa, which is remake of Dhanush starrer action drama Asuran. Narappa which also has Priyamani in the crucial role, is one of the much hyped movie of Tollywood. The movie Narappa, which is helmed by Srikanth Addala, was slated to hit the theaters on 14th  may but now the makers have postponed its release. Venkatesh Daggubati himself confirmed the same by sharing a post on social media sites.

 Venky Mama wrote, “In lieu of the pandemic, Narappa will not be released on 14th May. A new theatrical  release date will be officially  announced once we overcome this crisis. Stay Safe.”

 Venkatesh confirmed that  the new release date of Narappa will be announced very soon. The action drama is jointly backed by Suresh Babu and Kalaipuli S Thanu whereas it has the music by Mani Sharma.  The movie also has Prakash Raj, Karthik Rathnam, Murali Sharma and Sampath Raj in crucial roles.

Venkatesh who will be seen playing a middle aged man Narappa, has undergone a total transformation for this character in Srikanth Addala’ magnum opus where he will be seen as a farmer and a father of a twenty years old son in the film.
