Noted producer Suresh Babu already revealed that his production house Suresh Productions is holding talks with OTT giants to bankroll several web series. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Venaktesh Daggubati is also planning to enter into Web World. Venky Mama star Venkatesh will play the lead role in one of the web series.
It is unclear about the director but the sources say that Teja may direct the web series in which Venkatesh will play the lead role. Just like how Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is balancing his presence on cinema and OTT, Venkatesh Daggubati also wants to do the same. If everything will go accordingly, it will surely become a path breaking web series in Telugu. Amazon Prime is holding talks to bankroll the web series along with Suresh Productions. Several Bollywood actors have already started to work for web series along with movies. And now Telugu actors are also showing their interest in web series.
On the work front, Venkatesh is busy in the shoot of Naarappa, the remake of Tamil film Asuran which is in the final stages of shoot. The film Naarappa is expected to hit the theaters by the end of this year. After this Venkatesh will join the sets of Anil Ravipudi’ directorial venture F3.
