Venkatesh Daggubati and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya are working together with an upcoming flick Venky Mama, which is directed by KS Ravindra alias Bobby. The entire shoot of the film has been wrapped up and recently during the media interaction, Suresh Babu made an official announcement regarding the release date and revealed that the movie will hit the theaters on 13th December. The movie has already started the promotional activities. According to the latest update, Chinnamandem Shankara Swamy acquired the Ceeded area theatrical rights for the fancy price of Rs 5.4 Cr. In the rest of the areas in Andhra and Nizam, the makers will release Venky Mama themselves through Suresh Film Distributors.

The fans and movie lovers are particularly excited to see Venkatesh alongside his real-life nephew Naga Chaitanya in this film. The film is touted to be packed with comedy, which fans are looking forward to, especially after Venkatesh’s previous comedy entertainer F2: Fun and Frustration, directed by Anil Ravipudi. F2 also had Mega Prince Varun Tej, Milky Siren Tamannah Bhatia, Rajendra Prasad and Mehreen Kaur Pirzada in it. The film was a blockbuster hit and collected over Rs 100 cr at the worldwide box office.

Venky Mama will be a refreshing watch for fans who last saw Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in Majili, where he shared the screens space with his wife Samantha Akkineni. Majili was Naga Chaitanya’ first film with Samantha Akkineni after they got married to each other

Raashi Khanna and Payal Rajput are playing the female leads in Venky Mama. Suresh Babu said, “ The upcoming film Venky Mama is based on faith and that the movie will feature extensive visual effects. Also, apart from comedy scenes, the film will have a lot of drama and audiences will be moved to tears.” After several rounds of speculations, it has been finally confirmed that Venky Mama will be hitting screens in December itself and not for Sankranthi.
