After delivering successful movie F2 Fun and Frustration, Venaktesh Daggubati has joined the sets of his next upcoming multistarrer Venky Mama in which Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is also playing the lead role. The regular shoot of Venky Mama was started from 25th February near the banks of Godavari and currently the shoot is going on in Rajamundry. According to the latest update, recently the makers canned few crucial scenes in which both Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya participated. According to the latest update, few stills and a making video, from the sets of Venky Mama have been leaked on the internet and are going viral.
In the leaked video clip, Venkatesh was seen receiving Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and later both travel on a boat.
The team had recently posted on social media that the shoot commenced on Saturday, posting a picture of their location too. The director KS Ravindra alias Bobby wrote on Twitter,“Happy to announce that first day of our movie with Venkatesh garu , @chay_akkineniis happening on the banks of Godavari river. Need all your best wishes. Thank You.” (sic) The source say that the makers canned the intro scene of Venky Mama in which Venkatesh welcomes Naga Chaitanya in village.
Venky Mama is written by Kona Venkat and is directed by Booby. It has the music by Thaman S. RX 100 fame Payal Rajput and Raashi Khanna are playing the female leads. Recently Payal Rajput wrote on Twitter, “This one is going to be really special..Excited to work with very talented team @RaashiKhanna @chay_akkineni and my fav #VenkateshDaggubati. Directed by @dirbobby, music by @MusicThaman. #VenkyMama.” (sic)
Raashi Khanna wrote, “So looking forward to working with the team! And very happy to be collaborating with @dirbobby for the second time! @chay_akkineni @starlingpayal #Venkateshdaggubati Garu.. #VenkyMama.” (sic).

On the otherside, Naga Chaitanya will be seen in Majili, in which he is essaying a failed cricketer turned rowdy.
