Venu Madhav, one of the most popular Telugu film comedian, passed away today on Wednesday afternoon due to multiple health issues.
Venu Madhav, who was also a mimicry artist, was admitted at the Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday evening and was put on life support system as the condition turned critical. The doctors performed dialysis, but today he breathed his last.
He was under treatment for a long time and he was advised to undergo a liver transplant surgery. He is survived by his wife and two children.
Yashoda Hospital PRO Sampath said, “Venu Madhav was brought to Yashoda Hospital on Tuesday evening and he was known to be suffering from multiple health issues.”
Venu Madhav who was born in Kodad of Suryapet district made his debut in movies with Sampradayam in 1996 and was last seen in Dr. Paramanandaiah Students Gang in 2016.
Several celebrities like Uttej, Ali, and Sivajiraja visited the corporate hospital where he passed away and paid their tributes.
Vamsi Kaka took to his Twitter to confirm the news of Venu Madhav’ demise as he tweeted, “Actor Venu Madhav Passed away today at 12.20 pm. Both the family members and doctors confirmed it. May his Soul Rest in Peace. #RIPVenuMadhav.”
