Vidya Balan shared the horrible experience with a Tamil producer, she said, “There were a lot of rejections down South but I was replaced in each of them. I was also in Tamil movie but I was thrown out of the film. My parents used to come with me because they were so worried about me.
One time my parents went to the producer’s office and the producer showed us the clippings from the film and said to my parents, ‘just look at her does she look like a heroine. ‘ Later they replaced me. My fathers wanted to know what was the real problem.”
Vidya Balan added, “I felt ugly. I had not forgiven that man but today, thanks to that I realized that I have to love and accept myself the way I am today.”
