Music composer-turned hero Vijay Antony who has won million of hearts with her wonderful performance in ‘Bichagadu’, is now coming up with his latest bilingual Telugu-Tamil flick Kaasi. The movie will be released in Tamil as Kaali. Said to be an intense action drama, It will be released in Tamil as Kaali.
On the occasion of Republic day, Samantha unveiled the film’s first single, Andama which received decent response from the music lovers. Now the makers have released the trailer of Kaasi, which starts off as a thriller with mother sentiment and showing a snake that reminds us ‘Chandramukhi’ movie. Vijay goes in search to know the mystery behind his mother’s death. What sort of consequences are faced by him forms rest of the story. The released trailer hints that the film has all the commercial elements like action and romance.
Anjali and Sunainaa are playing the female leads. Apart from them, the film has other stars like Amritha, Shilpa Manjunath and Rakesh Prudhvi in supporting roles. The film is helmed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi and bankrolled by Fathima Vijay Antony. Vijay Antony has scored the film’s music.
Vijay was last seen in the multi-lingual flick ‘Indrasena’, which was dud at the box office and he is planning to score a hit with Kaasi.
