Puri Jagannadh has already made an announcement about the sequel of his recent offering iSmart Shankar and has also registered the title Double iSmart at the Film Chamber. If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, Puri Jagannadh is planning to make double iSmart Shankar with none other than Vijay Deverkonda. On the other side, recently Ram Pothineni said that he and Puri Jagannadh developed the script together sitting in Goa, and confirmed that he will play the lead role in Double iSmart.
The sources say that on Friday night, Vijay Deverakonda met Puri Jagannadh and discusses ‘Double Ismart’. It has also come out that Vijay Deverakonda has expressed his desire to act in ‘Double Ismart‘. Let’s wait for an official announcement.
There are also reports that Puri Jagannadh may join hands with Kannada actor Yash for a film- Jana Gana Mana. Currently, Kannada actor is busy with his KGF 2 shooting, which is taking longer than expected. In the meantime, Vijay Deverakonda and Puri have agreed to do a film together.
Vijay was last seen in action and romantic entertainer Dear Comrade in which he played the role of Student leader whereas Rashmika Mandanna essayed cricketer. The movie, which is directed by Bharat Kamma is turning out commercially flop at the box office.
