The young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda is currently working with Puri Jagannadh of ismart Shankar and Pokiri fame for an upcoming film Liger, which is one of the much hyped movies of Tollywood. It is a multilingual drama which will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Liger marks Vijay Deverakonda’ debut in Hindi film industry and it has Ananya Pandey as the leading lady. Liger marks Vijay’s pan-Indian debut. Now according to the latest report, Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda are all set to make a Liger Promise on 6th September at 4 PM. Now we have to wait and see whether the makers will make an official announcement regarding its release date or they are going to reveal the teaser launch date.
Vijay Deverakonda became a household name with the success of the Telugu film Pelli Choopulu which was released in 2016. He won critical acclaim for his portrayal of a h*t-headed surgeon who takes to the bottle to cope with heartbreak in Sundeep Reddy Vanga’ directorial venture Arjun Reddy.
In Liger, Vijay Deverakonda is playing an MMA fighter and it is being bankrolled by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta in association with Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur.
