Google India has released the annual Year in Search 2019 list in several categories including the movies, personalities, songs, the sports events, and the news. The young and talented actor Vijay Deverakonda is currently working for his upcoming film World Famous Lover, which is being directed by Kranthi Madhav. Now according to the latest update, Vijay Deverakonda has been declared the Most Searched South Indian Star for the year 2019 by Google India.
When it comes to specific searches for South Indian entertainment, it is Tollywood that comes up trumps, with the top searched for a movie star and song all from Tollywood! Prabhas starrer Saaho, Vijay Deverakonda and the Prema Vennela song from Chitralahari composed by Devi Sri Prasad are all on top.

According to the annual report by the search engine Google, Vijay Devarakonda is the most searched South Indian actor in 2019 by Google India. Vijay Deverakonda has also been in the news recently after his defense of ‘misogyny in Arjun Reddy’ in a roundtable with Anupama Chopra for Film Companion last month.
After wrapping up the shoot of World Famous Lover, Vijay Deverakonda will join the sets of his next upcoming film Fighter, which will go on the floor in the month of January. It will be directed by Puri Jagannadh. Karan Johar is going to join Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh’ Fighter as a partner. It is heard that Karan Johar himself has taken the responsibility of finding the heroine for Vijay Devarakonda starrer. A noted Bollywood heroine will make her presence felt in Fighter.
