The young sensational actor Vijay Deverakonda, who is currently waiting for the release of his upcoming film Liger, paid his respects to late actor Puneeth Rajkumar at his memorial in Bengaluru today. The talented Kannada actor who was known for playing the lead roles in mass masala movies, passed away unexpectedly in October last year at age 46 after suffering a heart attack. Puneeth was 46 years old.
Currently Vijay Deverakonda is busy with the promotional activities of Liger. As today he was in Bengaluru, he offered prayers to late actor Puneeth Rajkumar with leading lady Ananya Panday and paid a floral tribute to him.
Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar was at the gym when he collapsed due to the stroke. He was rushed to the hospital for the treatment but he was pronounced dead in a few minutes.
The reports are coming that Vijay and his Liger team will promote the movie at Mantri Mall in the city on Friday. Liger, which has Ananya Panday as the leading lady, is directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film is jointly produced by Karan Johar under the banner Dharma Productions and Puri Connects.
Liger, which also has Mike Tyson in the important role, is set for a grand theatrical release on 25th August.
