The young and talented actor Vijay Deverakonda is getting ready to start he shoot of his upcoming production venture in which Tharun Bhascker will play the lead role. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Vijay Deverakonda has picked actress Avantika Mishra to play the female lead in his film, which will be directed by debutant Shammir. Avantika Mishra will be playing the female lead opposite Tharun Bhascker.
The sources close to the film unit reveal that the makers decided to rope Avantika Mishra as actress after seeing her in a commercial. She was called in for a look test before she was given the role in Vijay Deverakonda’ production venture. The actress is very excited about her role.
A source says that it is a very young team. Since Avantika Mishra’ role is that of an aspiring actress, she believes that there is a lot of spunk to her role. The regular shoot is expected to commence very soon.
Avantika Mishra is well known face for Telugu audience’s. In 2014, she signed onto 3 Telugu film projects, followed by the film Maaya. She played the lead in Meeku Meere Maaku Meeme alongside Tarun Shetty, which was released in 2016. She was last seen in Vyshakam, which was arriaved at the theaters in 2017. Meanwhile, Avantika Mishra has a couple of Tamil films lined up for release, one is Nenjamellam Kadhal, and the other one’s an untitled project.
On the otherside, Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy in his upcoming movie Dear Comrade in which Kannada girl Rashmika Mnadanna is playing the female lead, which is written and directed by Bharat Kamma which is produced by Yash Rangineni under the production banner Mythri Movie Makers. It is slated to hit the theaters on 31at May 2019. Apart from Dear Comrade, Vijay Deverakonda is also the part of Kranthi Madhva’ directorial venture.
