He is under pressure to deliver hit this time. Vijay Deverakonda is now working with Puri Jagannath for the film Fighter which has had 40 days of shoot in Mumbai.
Vijay Deverakonda in a latest interview speaking about the film has said that Fighter is the wackiest commercial entertainer in his career. He has taken a conscious decision not to act in love stories in near future. He says that Fighter is a typical Puri Jagannath style of film and audience will love to hate him in the movie.
Vijay Deverakonda will be playing kick boxer in the movie. Ananya Pandey is the heroine. Fighter will be releasing in 5 languages. Shoot needs to be resumed in Mumbai and Puri Jagannath will decide about the shooting updates once permissions were given.
Two big sets are erected in Mumbai for this film and it also needs to be shot extensively in slums of Mumbai, Dharavi. Puri Jagannath and Karan Johar are producing Fighter.
