The young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda is currently working with Puri Jagannadh who is known for making Desamuduru, Neninthe, Badri, Pokiri, Golimaar, Businessman, Temper, Iddarammayilatho and ismart Shankar, for an upcoming film which is titled Liger. The film has B town girl Ananya Pandey as a leading lady and it is jointly bankrolled by Puri Jagannadh, Charmee Kaur whereas its Hindi version is produced by Karan Johar. Vijay Deverakonda who is very close to Karan Johar, sent special gifts to the producer.
Vijay Deverakonda gifted Karan Johar a patched denim jacket and yellow inner linings from his own fashion label. Karan Johar shared the pic of gifts on his Insta stories and thanked to Arjun Reddy star for this amazing piece.
The upcoming action drama Liger marks Vijay Deverakonda debut in Bollywood. It also has Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy in key roles.
Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya started shooting for this film last year. However, the project Liger was delayed owing to the Coronavirus pandemic and the resulting lockdown.
For this film, Vijay Deverakonda also visited Thailand to learn the mixed martial arts and various other fight forms. In the film, Geetha Govindam star will be seen flaunting six pack abs.
