Noted producer Dil Raju who is basking in the success of his recently released movie Vakeel Saab starring Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Shruti Haasan, Prakash Raj, Nivetha Thomas and Anjali, has signed Sarkar and Master fame Tamil superstar Vijay for one of his upcoming movie. Vamsi Paidipally who is known for making Maharshi starring Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde, is on the board to helm this untitled drama.
Vamshi Paidipally will be directing the bilingual project and Dil Raju is allocating a huge budget, given the fact that it Vijay’s first straight Telugu film, say reports.
Tamil actor Vijay is used to charge Rs 80 Cr. Shockingly the producer Dil Raju offered him a bigger paycheck than this. Now the reports are coming that Vijay is going to receive between Rs 80 Cr to Rs 90 cr and the budget of this untitled film is Rs 160 Cr.
Dil Raju and Vijay film will release in 2023. Other details have been kept under wraps for now, and Dil Raju is expected to have multiple meetings with Tamil actor Vijay through this year, before finalizing on the modalities of this drama. If everything goes accordingly, the upcoming untitled project will go on the floors towards middle of 2022.
