A video is going viral on the social media that shows Vijay Sethupathi being attacked by an unidentified man at the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. The incident took place on Tuesday night. Vijay Sethupathi who is a popular name in Telugu and Tamil Film Industry, was returning after shooting a movie in the city when his personal assistant shoved the man while clearing the way for Vijay inside the airport. The man who was in an inebriated state attacked the actor’s PA.
The police said: A drunk fan attacked the personal assistant of Vijay Sethupathi after his request for a selfie was turned down. The incident happened at the Kempegowda International Airport here on Tuesday night and was caught on camera. The video of same is going viral on the social media.
The airport police said that Vijay Sethupathi’ PA had turned down the fan’ request for a selfie with the actor because he had found him drunk.
The sources say that Vijay, his staff and security assistants were leaving the airport when a man in a drunken state suddenly ran up to them from behind and tried to sit on the shoulders of Johnson, the actor’s personal assistant but he turned around to retaliate.. Heated altercation took place between both of them, but the CISF personnel brought the situation under control. Apparently, no case was registered by either party.
