We have already reported that Kollywood actor Vijay Sethupathi has been roped in upcoming film #AA20 in which stylish Star Allu Arjun will play the lead role and the movie will be helmed by none other than Sukumar of Rangasthalam fame. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Vijay Sethupathi has hiked his remuneration and he is demanding Rs 1.5 crore to play baddy opposite Stylish Star Allu Arjun in his upcoming film #AA20 with Sukumar which was launched with formal pooja ceremony on Wednesday.

Vijay Sethupathi is riding on his growing popularity in Tollywood and producers of Allu Arjun starrer don’t mind paying Rs 1.5 Cr remuneration to Vijay Sethupath.

On the other side, Vijay Sethupathi surprised everyone when he decided to play the antagonist in Kollywood star Vijay starrer Thalapathy64)with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Earlier, Vijay Sethupathi also played a character with negative shades in Rajinikanth’ ‘Petta’.

Vijay Sethupathi played the extended cameo in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, directed by Surender Reddy. Now, the actor is flooded with offers from several producers in Telugu Film Industry. He is also busy in his next upcoming Telugu film Uppena in which Panja Vaishnav Tej, the brother of Sai Dharam Tej is playing the lead role.

Recently Rangasthalam director Sukumar met the Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi for a narration after which he was roped in to play the role. Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the upcoming film is based on red sand smugglers set in the backdrops of Rayalaseema and Nellore. Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to score the music.

Sukumar has finalized locations in the Nallamala forest for the shoot of the film, which has Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna to play the female lead. The actress gave a miss to the launch event due to her hectic schedules. However, Dear Comrade girl took to social media and said sorry.
