If ongoing buzz in media and film Industry is to be believed, Kollywood sta Vijay has decided to slashed his remuneration for his upcoming film. The reports are coming that Sarkar and Bhairaya fame Vijay agreed to take a pay cut for his next film to help the producers.
Recently the Young Tamil director Ajay Gnanamuthu, who is currently busy in his upcoming directorial venture Cobra starring Chiyaan Vikam, has floored everyone with his gesture, when he decided to slash his remuneration by 40 percent for upcoming Tamil action thriller movie Cobra. Apparently, Ajay Gnanamuthu has slashed his remuneration by 40 percent which is equal about Rs 1.50 Cr.
Vijay is one of the highest paid actors of Tamil film Industry. He is teaming up with AR Murugadoss for an upcoming movie, which will be bankrolled by Sun Pictures. The sources say that Vijay voluntarily came forward to take a Rs 20 percent pay cut for this movie. The director Murugadoss has also slashed remuneration.
Vijay and Murugadoss‘ have worked together for Thuppakki, Kaththi, and Sarkar. Therefore, the fans have huge expectations from this upcoming project. The shoot of this upcoming film is likely to kick start once things get back to normal.
Meanwhile Vijay is waiting for the release of his upcoming action drama Master, in which Vijay Sethupathi is playing the role of a villain.
