Tamil star actor Vijay Thalapathy has teamed up with the dynamic director Lokesh Kanagaraj for an upcoming project, tentatively titled Thalapathy 67. The movie is currently in its filming phase and the makers are setting a perfect cast for it. Apart from this, a powerful antagonist is set by the makers and they have revealed the same.
The greatest buzz is that the renowned director Gautham Vasudev Menon has been roped in to play the antagonist in this movie, against the lead actor Vijay Thalapathy. Earlier, there was news surrounded the internet that Sanjay Datt is the villain for Vijay Thalapathy. But there had been no confirmation about this. Now according to the latest news, people suspect that if the two actors are allotted for villain characters, because there was also news that the film would contain 6 villain characters and two female leads.
It remains to see if it’s possible for the makers to set two villain characters. But Gautham Menon has confirmed as the antagonist in this epic project.
Set against the backdrop of Mumbai, Thalapathy 67 is a gangster drama. It features Samantha as the female lead and another actress will be confirmed soon.
As Samantha flew to the USA for skin related treatment, the makers have to wait till her arrival in India. Moreover, Trisha will also be the part of the film. Currently, Vijay T is busy with the promotions of Thalapathy 66, which is directed by Vamsi Paidipally.
