Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer big budget film Laal Singh Chaddha, which was released in theaters on 11th August, has turned out a commercially flop at the box office. The movie lovers have totally rejected the movie for Aamir Khan’ previous mockery of Hindu gods in his movies and having anti-national views in the past. Amid the promotions, boycott Laal Singh Chaddha recently started trending on social media. Seeing the trend, Aamir Khan requested everyone not to boycott his drama. Before the release of Laal Singh Chaddha, Telugu actress turned politician Vijayashanthi had also criticized Aamir Khan in a series of tweets. In her tweets she lashed out at Aamir Khan for his past comment about growing intolerance in the country India as well as for his ‘blind opposition to the Bharatiya Janata Party.’
Vijayashanthi had recalled the time when Aamir Khan had said that India has become intolerant in 2015 and he along with Kiran Rao wanted to leave the country for the safety of their children.
Once again Vijayashanthi took to her Twitter, thanking those netizens who raised voices and helped boycott Aamir Khan films that are against Hindu belief system. In a series of tweets, the actress turned politician wrote, “Thanks to the devotees of this country who accepted the call of our nationalists and stepped in with slogans of ‘Bharat Mataki Jai’ and stopped the spread of hatred on India, its culture and religion. Bollywood movie lovers all over the country must know Aamir Khan’ intentions behind making such type of movies, and now it’s time for them to realize what will happen, if anyone makes movies with such hidden agendas.”
