Vijayendra Prasad, the father of Baahubali film maker SS Rajamouli, is a screenwriter who worked across the industries has given several blockbusters in Indian cinema. He also has won the ‘Best Story award’ for his ‘2016 film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan,’ besides several other awards. Recently, Vijayendra Prasad shared some of his observations on the Tollywood filmmakers especially Tollywood Directors- SS Rajamouli and Sukumar.
About Sukumar, Vijayendra Prasad said, “SS Rajamouli and Sukumar are the same in terms of their working style’. Like Rajamouli, Sukumar has a similar weakness. He too takes too much time to complete a project. And both have the same passion and presentation style for good cinema.”
About Rajamouli, Vijayendra Prasad said, “The way Rajamouli conceives and executes a project is of the topmost quality. But his biggest weakness is not being able to complete his projects in quick time as he spends a lot of time on shooting and post-production work of the project.”
Vijayendra Prasad concluded it by saying that he is tired of telling his son so many times to make films faster.
On the work front, currently Rajamouli is working for his upcoming project RRR whereas Sukumar is busy in his directorial venture Pushpa, which will be released in two parts.
