Gangster Vikas Dubey has been killed in an encounter by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force when he tried to escape upon reaching Kanpur on Friday. The encounter between Vikas Dubey and Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force broke out when Vikas Dubey tried to escape upon reaching Kanpur. He suffered a few bullets shots and he later succumbed to his injuries. Gangster Vikas Dubey has officially been declared dead.
The police official revealed, “Just an hour short of Kanpur, the car in which the gangster Vikas Dubey was being taken overturned on the highway that was slick with rain and he tried to escape after snatching a gun. He was shot dead.
The senior Kanpur police officer JN Singh said, “ Vikash Dubey snatched the pistol of one of the Special Task Force men escorting him and tried to run but was surrounded by the police team.” Vikash Dubey was declared dead in hospital.
Gangster Vikas Dubey was arrested outside the Mahakal temple in Ujjain, Uttar Pradesh on Thursday morning just moments after two of his accomplices were killed in separate encounters.
The police officials confirmed that four police constables have also sustained injuries. Vikas Dubey has died. He was the main accused in the ambush and the killing of eight police personnel in the Kanpur encounter case.
