Where, after playing for a three-match series in the second ODI, blue team captain Virat Kohli told his teammate Yuzvendra Chahal on what has dragged him back when he reached the score of 65.
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), has shared a video in which Virat is seen candidly having an interview with Chahal. With the knock of 120 runs, Kohli turned out to be the highest run bagger on West Indies in ODI format and also marked the second place in the blue team as the highest run-scorer in 50 over format.
Post second ODI, Virat told in a candid interview with Chahal as “It was important for me to stay at the crease. As a side, we try that one of our top three batsmen goes on to play a big knock. Shikhar and Rohit have done that for us in the past, and today I was able to do it. Honestly, I was tired when I reached the score of 65, but the situation demanded me to work hard for every run”
As soon as Kohli revealed he was tired on reaching a score of 65, Chahal sarcastically said, “Breaking News: Even our skipper gets tired”.
