Gudivada Amarnath, Minister of Information Technology for AP said that in coming 2 months, Visakhapatnam is going to become the Executive capital of the State.”

Gudivada Amarnath announced that the state’s Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, will start governing from the proposed executive capital of Visakhapatnam within the next 2 months.

Gudivada Amarnath emphasized that there should be no confusion about the decision to make Visakhapatnam the executive capital. The minister urged the public not to pay attention to rumors and assured that the government is committed to this decision.

The Minister further said, “We shall commence the activities in Vizag as the administrative capital in the next 2 months.”

He added that as many as 60 IT industries were ready to move to the Visakhapatnam which would pave way to turn the city into the IT hub. He added that Vizag which is going to be executive capital of Andhra Pradesh, will also be developed as the potential destination for the Information Technology.

Party Sources revealed that Jagan Mohan Reddy led government is getting ready with the revised bill on the decentralised administration during the upcoming budget session of the state assembly to be held in the last week of next month. The bill is getting ready for the same.
