Vishal and Tamannah Bhatia have collaborated for an upcoming action thriller drama Action. Today morning Vishal took to his Twitter to make an official announcement regarding the release date of Action. He revealed that Action will open in cinemas worldwide on 15th November. Vishal starrer Action will compete with Sundeep Kishan starrer Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL at the box office.
Helmed by Sundar C, who has co-written the film along with Shubha and Venkat Ragavan, Vishal and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles. It also stars Malayalam actor Aishwarya Lekshmi, who is making her screen debut in Tamil Film Industry with this film. Hiphop Tamizha has scored music for Vishal and Tamannah starrer Action.
The major part of the movie Action is shot in Turkey and Azerbaijan. Vishal’s ‘Action’ is all set to lock horns with Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Sanga Thamizhan’, which is also set for release on the same day. The teaser and trailer of Action has already grabbed the attention of movie lovers with plenty of action sequences with guns, dirt bikes, ATVs, motorboats and cars.
In Kollywood, Action will clash at the box office with Vijay Sethupathi starrer Sanga Tamizhan. It was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on the occasion of Diwali along with Vijay starrer sport based drama Bigil and Karthi starrer Kaithi.
Atlee Kumar’ directorial venture Bigil alone was released in 700 screens and more than 250 screens were taken by Kaithi. The screen-crunch forced the makers of Sanga Tamizha to look for another favorable release date. It is now set to hit the screens on November 15.
In Tollywood, Action will clashed with Sundeep Kishan and Hansika Motwani starrer Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL. Directed by G Nageshwara Rao, it is all about a newbie lawyer looking for clients and how he manages to take up cases. Apart from the lead pair, the film also has v Murali Sharma, Saptagiri, Prabhas Sreenu, Gowtam Raju and Vennela Kishore in the supporting roles.
