After the disastrous failure in proving the trust vote, the Former Chief Minister of Karnataka H D Kumaraswamy has now hit the headlines now. From the reports, it was known that former JD(S) state president and a disqualified MLA A H Vishwanath on Wednesday said that their Former CM HD Kumaraswamy has tapped their phones of all the rebel MLAs. He further claimed that Kumaraswamy has tapped at least 300 personal phones of all the leaders including the Congress Legislature Party leader S Siddaramiah. Vishwanath stated that Kumaraswamy did not have faith in anyone of his party members hence took a step for illegal tapping which is a criminal offense.

Vishwanath further added, “When 17 disgruntled MLAs (including Vishwanath himself) decided to not support the coalition and tendered resignations, H D Kumaraswamy had tapped the phones of MLAs and also that of our associates”.

Onto the allegations of Vishwanath, Kumaraswamy responded on his Twitter platform saying, “I have always asserted that the CM’s post is not permanent. To retain such a seat, I had no need to opt for phone tapping. The allegations made against me, by some in this regard, is far from the truth.”
