Last year in the month of October, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya tied the knot in Goa. Later in December, another actress Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohali broke many hearts when they tied the knot. Now other Bollywood lovebirds are planning to take their relationship a step ahead and are all set to tie the knot this Summer. According to the latest update, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja will get hitched over a two day ceremony on 11th and 12th May in Geneva.
The sources say that the mass bookings for flights are presently underway. Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor is personally making phone calls to invite guests. There will be sangeet and mehendi ceremonies, followed by a traditional Hindu wedding.
The sources added, the nuptials will be preceded by an engagement ceremony attended by the family’s inner circle, but the venue for that is presently not known.
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding news has become the talk of the town. They made their relationship public via Instagram on the occasion of Anil Kapoor’s 60th birthday celebration in London in December 2016. This year, on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, Sonam exclaimed that she was “the luckiest girl in the world”, sharing pictures of a red rose bouquet from her soon-to-be husband Anand.
On the workside, Sonam Kapoor will be seen in Veere Di Wedding and Sanju which are in post production stages and gearing up for grand release.
