Shirley Setia is a New Zealand singer and actress, and she made her acting debut with the 2020 Hindi film Maska which was released on Netflix. She will be making her big screen debut with Nikamma and Telugu film debut with Krishna Vrinda Vihari opposite Naga Shaurya. Stylish Star Allu Arjun has become a Pan India star thanks to his previous offering Pushpa: The Rise helmed by Sukumar. Number of Bollywood celebrities have showered praises for the movie and Allu Arjun’ performance. Now another name has been added in this list and she is none other than Bollywood singer and actress Shirley Setia. During her Q&A session on Twitter, the singer-turned-actress Shirley Setia wrote, “ What Charisma! Huge fan of Allu Arjun sir”. The actress also revealed that she has been watching more south cinemas of late.
Shirley Setia was last seen playing the female lead in Nikamma, directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Shabbir Khan Films and Sony Pictures India. It is a remake of 2017 Telugu film Middle Class Abbayi in which Natural star Nani and Sai Pallavi played the lead roles.
With Pushpa, Allu Arjun has proven to be a way bigger pan-India star than Yash, Jr NTR, Ram Charan and even Prabhas. And the reason is simple, Bunny’ film worked because of his name and his star power in North India.
