We had already reported that KCR would be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the latter’s several daniels. Now, from the fresh update, we hear that Telangana CM KCR has met the Modi for an hour-long meeting and discussed many things with him.
From the sources in the Cheif Minister’s office, it was known that KCR has elaborated PM that his government is in talks with AP Chief Minister YS Jagan in regards to Krishna and Godavari rivers water sharing, which would be beneficial to both states. KCR requested to increase the number of judges in the state. Further KCR reminded Modi about the bifurcation promises and requested a steel plant to be erected at Bayyaram. From the close sources, it was also known that KCR has also discussed the political situation in the state too.
From the sources close to CM office, it was known that KCR has earlier met with Amit Shah and had a discussion for 40 min along with Defense minister Rajnath Singh and submitted a memorandum that reads 40 critical issues. He further requested the central government to look into it immediately.
