According to the latest buzz in the film Industry, Mani Ratnam, the prominent director, was immediately taken to the private hospital in Chennai on Thursday after he complained of chest pain. Mani Ratnam, who is popular for making ‘Thalapathy’, ‘Nayagan’, ‘Bombay’ and ‘Roja’, suffered a minor heart attack. The news that Mani Ratnam suffered a heart attack has given shock to everyone in film Industry. Currently a team of doctor is assisting him and they did not give any update regarding Mani Ratnam’s health condition.
This is not the first time, when the film maker Mani Ratnam suffered a heart attack. In 2014, he was also suffered a major heart attack during the shoot of political drama Yuva (the Hindi version of Aayutha Ezhuthu).
On the workside, Mani Ratnam is currently busy in his upcoming movie Chekka Chivantha Vaanam in which Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu, Aravind Swamy, Arun Vijay, Aditi Rao Hydari and Jyothika are playing the lead roles.
On the otherside, the Film Critic & Trade Analyst, Sathish Kumar M has confirmed the news that Mani Ratnam went for regular checkup and he is fine. He wrote on Twitter, “#Official Director #Maniratnam went for regular health checkup only today and he is fine. – #PRO #Nikkil.”
South Indian Movie Tracker Prashanth Rangaswa said, Mani Ratnam was admitted to hospital because of chest pain. He tweeted, “Director Maniratnam Admitted to Hospital because of Chest Pain. He is okay now says family. Wishing you a speedy recovery sir !!”
