Having worked for around two years on the script of the sequel to the hit 2016 movie Soggade Chinni Nayana, director Kalyan Krishna is elated that Bangarraju, also starring Nagarjuna Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya, has eventually gone on floors on Friday.
Despite it being a sequel, Bangarraju, according to the director Kalyan Krishna, is still independent on its own and the upcoming fantasy drama has a fresh storyline. Earlier it was heard that Akhil Akkineni is also the part of Nagarjuna starrer Bangarraju. But now the sources say that Nagarjuna has said no to his son Akhil.
The reason behind it is , Akhil has multiple projects in his kitty so he can not sign Bangarraju. Currently the art department is erecting heaven sets and the makers are planning to shoot few crucial scenes on Nagarjuna.
On the otherside, currently Akhil is working with Surender Reddy for a film Agent in which he is playing the role of a spy. Coming to Bangarraju, happening beauty Krithi Shetty of Uppena fame came onboard as female lead. Kalyan Krishna is very excited and is looking forward to working on the sequel. Apparently, a lot of research went into writing the script of Bangarraju.
