King Nagarjuna and Dia Mirza starrer action and thriller drama Wild Dog skipped direct to OTT release and hit the silver screens on 2nd April. Though on its opening day, the movie Wild Dog, which was helmed by Soloman received positive response by the movie lovers and the critics but failed to perform well at the box office and ended up as a dud.
It is known news that Soloman’ directorial venture Wild Dog was originally slated to skip theatrical release and make its way directly to OTT, but later the makers pulled out from the OTT deal and released Wild Dog in theatres on 2 April.
And now Wild Dog is likely to end its theatrical run in the coming weeks, so the attention has once again turned towards its OTT release. Nagarjuna starrer Wild Dog made a sizable profit from Netflix OTT rights as it offered Rs 27 crores for the rights of the Soloman’ directorial venture.
Now according to the latest update Nagarjuna starrer might stream on Netflix from mid May. However, there have also been reports claiming that the action drama Wild Dog might release on the OTT platform in the first week of June. An official confirmation is awaited regarding this.
