Akkineni Akhil has made his debut amidst a lot of hype with an action entertainer Akhil which was a chaos of script. The film left the audience with lots of confusions and it also burnt the hands of Nithiin, who produced the film. Akhil’s second movie Hello, which was in the direction of Vikram Kumar was touted to be a sure shit hit but it failed to grab the attention of movie lovers. It got settled as a below-average fare. Akhil has now turned towards Venky Atluri, whose debut flick is a massive hit. But sadly, Akhil has completed a hat-trick of flops. His third film Mr. Majnu, couldn’t impress the moviegoers.

Bommarillu Bhaskar’s previous outings were all flops and he was out of the radar for a quite long time. Sensational beauty Pooja Hegde, who is currently ruling the roost has been selected as the female lead. This heroine has been the prime choice for any flick now. Currently, she has Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramulo, Prabhas’s Jaan, Akhil’s film in hands. Akhil is hoping she will bring him the required luck to score a hit.
Also, there is a talk that can Akhil – Pooja ooze correct chemistry between them. Yesterday, both Akhil and Pooja went together to Kakinada for a shopping mall opening and it is said that they both carried themselves very well and have shown great rapport between them. If the same is shared in scenes, then the duo can setup perfect chemistry which is very crucial for a romantic entertainer. Akhil is very low in confidence with hat-trick flops. So, this movie’s success is very important to him.
