OTT releases are going to be the way for Tollywood going forward. However, Telugu Cinema is not exploring digital media like Bollywood is exploring. Currently, only a small budget of films is contemplating deals with OTT platforms. But it is said that a biggie is going to join the list.
Actor Nagarjuna‘s upcoming film might be released directly through the OTT platform. Nagarjuna is currently playing the lead role in the movie Wild Dog in which he will be seen as an NIA agent. Only a small portion of the film is to be shot to be wrapped. Filmmakers are now contemplating to finish the project very soon.
Wild Dog producers are in talks with the OTT platform Amazon Prime and as per the latest reports talks are in advanced stages. Very soon an official update will be released. Prabhu Solomon is directing the movie.
