The production house Sithara Entertainment bagged the Telugu remake rights of Malayalam Movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum and the producers wanted to cast Nandamuri Balakrishna and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles. But for reasons unknown Balakrishna refused the movie. Now the latest buzz is that the makers are planning to approach Venkatesh Daggubati in the place of Balayya. If everything goes accordingly, this will be the first time when Venkatesh will share the screen space with Rana Daggubati in a film.
Ayyappanum Koshiyum is all about the story of two stubborn men and their ego clashes. Biju Menon and Prithviraj received a lot of applause for their performances. It will be a treat for the Telugu movie lovers to see Venkatesh Daggubati and Rana clashing on the silver screen.
Rana Daggubati is said to be seen in Koshi role. The producer has already given advance to Baahubali star. And it is being heard that Venkatesh is also keen to do the role of Biju Menen.
On the work front, Venkatesh is busy with Narappa, the remake of Tamil movie Asuran, produced by Kalaipili S Thanu and Suresh Babu. The sources say that after this film Venky Mama star Venkatesh will join the Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake.
