It is known news that Megastar Chiranjeevi will be seen playing the lead role in the Telugu remake of Malayalam film Lucifer, helmed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal played the main role in Lucifer. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy star had secured the remake rights of Lucifer to produce it under his banner, Konidela Productions. Recently during the media interaction, Acharya actor confirmed that director Sujeeth, who helmed Saaho, has been roped in to direct the Telugu remake of Lucifer. Now the reports are coming that Chiranjeevi has decided to make his younger brother Pawan Kalyan as CM of the state in Lucifer remake.
The original Malayalam version of Lucifer had a CM’s role essayed by the actor Tovino Thomas. Mohanlal trains him and ropes him in as the Chief Minister after the death of Sachin Kedkar in the movie and now it is being heard that Chiranjeevi wish to induct Pawan Kalyan’ in CM’ role in Telugu remake of Lucifer. The official confirmation is awaited regarding the inclusion of Pawan Kalyan in this remake.
The film Lucifer showcases the power struggle that takes place when the leader of a ruling party dies.
On the otherside, currently Pawan Kalyan is working for Vakeel Saab and Krish’ directorial venture.
