“Wonder Woman” is the latest film directed by Anjali Menon, the director who impressed the Indian audience with the Malayalam film “Bangalore Days”. Let’s see how this movie is streaming on Sony Live app..!!

Story: Seven women about to menstruate arrive at a hostel called “Sumana”. Each woman has a different story.. Nora (Nithya Menon), Mini (Parvathy), Veni (Padmapriya), Saya Sayanora Philip), Gracie (Archana Padmini), Jaya (Amrita Subhash) join Nandita (Nadia) in “Sumana”. .

What was the difficulty for them to conceive in this order? How did they enjoy motherhood? What changes have you experienced in terms of personality? is the “Wonder Woman” storyline.

Performance of the actors: Although all of them have lived up to their roles as mothers-to-be, Amrita Subhash is the most impressive actress. Not only does her story have an emotional connection, her character is elevated above all others as the Navataram couple is the most relatable story. Nadia is the actress who dominates them all. Her maturity in acting, gestures, body language & emotional scenes is mind-blowing.

Technical performance: Manish Madhavan’s cinematography is the biggest asset of the film. He presented the film very colorfully and pleasantly. Govind Vasantha’s music is also good. Elevated the emotions nicely. The production design & D.I work is also good.

A film from director Anjali Menon means.. Audience expectations are in a range. The reason for that is her track record. Movies like “Bangalore Days, Koode” directed by her have impressed the audience. That’s why there are huge expectations on the movie “Wonder Woman”. Above all.. The expectations of this movie have increased even more with actresses like Nithya Menon, Parvathy, Padmapriya and Nadia.

However.. The lack of emotional connectivity expected from Anjali has become a big minus in this movie. Everything is good but..somewhere the emotional high is missing. No matter how much a web film.. emotional elevation is very important. Except for the husband and wife’s confession episode & the hospital climax episodes, the absence of that emotional elevation anywhere can be said as a minus in “Wonder Woman”. Anjali Menon, who impressed as a director, was disappointing as a storyteller.

Analysis: “Wonder Woman” is a bit disappointing as it misses the mark of emotions & human touch expected from Anjali Menon. However, it is a good feeling to see talented heroines like Nithya Menon, Parvathy, Padmapriya, Amrita Subhash all in one frame. For that alone, we can say “Wonder Woman” as a movie worth watching once on Sony Live.
