Telanagna and Andhra Pradesh government have given permission to resume the shoot of movies and TV shows. The film makers of Telugu film Industry have started the preparation. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Keerthy Suresh has decided to not start the shoot. In a latest interview ahead of Penguin’s OTT release, National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh said that she is still not ready to resume shootings.
Mahanati girl Keerthy Suresh said, “There will be minimum of 50 crew members on the sets. Resuming shootings is risky in such condition. The coronavirus cases are increasing in the state. I am not ready to take the risk at this moment.” She concluded it by saying that she would think about shootings only after the pandemic subsides.
In Tollywood, she was last seen in Mahanati, Her last Tamil film was Sandakozhi 2. Following her National Award-winning performance in Nag Ashwin’ directorial venture Mahanati, Keerthy Suresh was bombarded with scripts or what the film industry fondly calls ‘women-centric’ cinema — projects that are headlined by women.
Currently Keerthy Suresh is waiting for the release of her upcoming female centric movie Penguin. She is also the part of young actor Nithiin starrer Rang De.
